God Sees You

“She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me,’ for she said, ‘I have now seen the One who sees me.” - Genesis 16:13

We’ve all had a time or two when we’ve felt invisible. A time, when someone waved in our direction, we waved back, just to realize they were waving at the person behind us.

Days when we got cut off in traffic or skipped in a line as if we simply weren’t there. If I’m honest, I find these situations super annoying, not to mention super embarrassing – oh, you weren’t waving at me, complete stranger? My bad!

I’m so grateful that God doesn’t look past or skip over us. He sees us and knows us deeply. He is always there, even on our hardest and loneliest days, to listen, comfort, and guide us.

If you find yourself feeling invisible today, you’re not. Friend, your heavenly father sees you and loves you; you are not invisible, and you are never alone.
